A picture is worth a thousand words; your report is only a hundred.
Radiologist reports vary widely and do not consider clinical findings. Surgeons will always need to see your full MRI images to be able to make a surgical recommendation. Radiologist read reports based on anatomical differences while a surgeon will correlate those images to clinical findings; therefor it is necessary for a surgeon to view the images and not base his or her surgical treatment recommendation solely on a radiologist report.
